Awards awards awards!!

I have been stockpiling my awards and trying to find time to post them, and I finally just sat down to do it so those wonderful blogs that passed them on to me wouldn't think I didn't truly appreciate them! I really do! The hardest part is picking only a few to pass them forward to since if I am reading you, it is because I love you! So, without further aboo (ha ha, since it is Halloween....yeah okay, not the best joke in the world!

Thank you to Pink Haired Momma and Staci at Just Bloggled (two blogs, by the way, that keep me laughing!) for this fun award!

HONEST THINGS ABOUT MYSELF
1.I am only five feet tall. Yep. That is it.
2. The first time I met my husband, he was intimidated by me (his words not mine). Now, if you read number one, you may see how silly this seems. Maybe it is the whole Napoleon complex. Who knows.
3. I am a  homebody. My kids, my  hubby, our house. That is the best place to be.
4. I don't speak to my real father, but it doesn't matter because my stepdad has become my real dad. Biology may make someone a father, but it sure doesn't make him a dad.
5. My hubby and I used to enjoy a nice dirty martini with a fancy restaurant meal. Now we are excited when we get Tokyo Joes.
6. I don't like hate cleaning. Yet my mom is a super super clean person. Go figure.
7. Because of number 6, I will clean this house from top to bottom for hours before a birthday party, knowing my mom and grandma can spot a speck of dirt like five million yards away. I think they can smell it before they even get to the door.
8. I am SICK AND TIRED of hearing about Michael Jackson (can you tell a commercial just came on). So many other celebrities have recently lost their lives to true battles. Not drugs. I am sorry, because I know I have offended at least one person. But I would much prefer see all those brave children at St. Jude's be on fifty commercials.
9. I am to the bottom of my soul disappointed in someone close to me. And I think it hurts me more than they would even care that I am upset. This is a big problem to me.
10. I had two c-sections, and because of each of the circumstances, I know in the bottom of my heart that my son's c-section happened to save my daughter, who would follow two years later. Too many coincidences. Too many things COULD/SHOULD have happened. It is a crazy story. But part of me really wishes I had experienced pushing one of them all the way out!
