First Holiday gift guide tip and Wednesday's Frugal Fun Stuff.

Alright my frugal friends, here is the scoop. Starting in November, I am going to be having a little gift guide~where to find the goodies, great deals I find, some gifts you may not have thought of. I actually have a LOT of my Christmas shopping DONE! Jealous? Anyway to kick this off, I wanted to share my find (or rather my friend's find) today.

My son is an absolute fanatic about taking pictures. I can't figure out where he gets it. I only have like, what, five to six hundred pictures per kid each month? That is barely anything, right? He has got mimicking me down. He will position the came, demand we smile, and then say "ooooooohhhhhhh, that is a GOOD one, mommy!" So, I knew I wanted to get him a camera. I as planning on doing the Fischer-Price one, but then my friend told me Kohl's was having a sale for the Discovery Kids Camera. I did some research, and JC Penney's has it on sale too. So depending on what coupons you have on hand, you can get this $80.00 at half the price! My hubby picked up ours at JC Penney's today for $29.00-$10.00 reward coupon I had. I got that 80.00 present for $19.00! You can also get in online and combine with coupons (especially if you have other shopping to do to qualify for free shipping) HERE. Kohl's has it online for $36.00 HERE (again, combine with coupons or other shopping for free shipping!). Our local Kohl's only had the purple one left, and the local Penney's only had 2 of each left.

The only difference I saw between it and the Fischer-Price is that the FP holds 500 pics, and this hold 150 at a time. (And really, if I have to scroll through 500 pics to find the TWO cute one's that he took, I will die) They both connect to computer, and DK actually has about a minute of soundless video, too. Both are "kid tough".  Go get it!

Alrighty, enough of the gift guide for today, on to today's Frugal Fun Stuff!

I am a part of the Nielsen homescan program. If you would like, you can sign up HERE. I can't even tell you how easy this program is. You shop. Then you either A. do it yourself or B. let a responsible kid play supermarket and scan the products (you can do this on any shopping trip, or just the small ones). You submit the info. You get points. So easy peasy it is crazy. You get prizes like..........

Shameless plug-my scholastic book giveaway ends tonight. Enter HERE.

I must say that I am slightly disappointed in the trick-or-treat festivities this year. Boo at the Zoo is during the day, the local malls are only until 3, even Toys R Us is just in the day from noon-3. That is a good one though, and is nationwide. Kids dressed in their costumes get a complimentary, reusable bag and get to parade around with Geoffrey the Giraffe and get goodies and giveaways! Get more details HERE.

Head back in to Yankee Candle, votives and tarts are 50% off with THIS coupon. (AHEM: another GREAT gift topper, house-yummy smeller, etc etc. Stock up and put a few extra aside. I guarantee you can always use one!) As my friend stated, and I quote "they are going to make me go bankrupt". Sheesh.

Children's Place has 15% off your next purchase HERE. If you shop during deals and clearances, you are gonna get great kids clothes at a beyond fantastic price.

3 of you are the "cool kids":
