Snow Days and Pumpkin Carving

Halloween is almost here! In our winter-storm conditions over here, we have been holed up in the house for two days now. We got our pumpkins carved, some cuddling, movie, and reading time in. The kids haven't gotten to play in the snow since they are barely done being sick (how ironic is it that for two weeks the boy had diarrhea, and now that he has eaten three water balloons that need to be pooped out, we got nuthin'?! ), I kept them in one more day. I have a some very much loved awards to post this weekend, Halloween to celebrate, and some new giveaways to get started. But, here are my pictures from my fun Snow-Day Thursday!

The kids watching daddy shovel the snow. The right picture is the patio FIVE minutes after he shoveled.

The far left pumpkin had a nasty little natural scar to it that we just had to add to. The middle pumpkin is for my daughter, and the right is my sons. This is as close as you get to seeing their faces!

Little Man got to paint his own pumpkin this year! He had an absolute blast!

4 of you are the "cool kids":

Oh no the snow! That giant pumpkin rocks! Man my garden gave me 1 small one ... LOL

I'm going to let the boys paint their pumpkins today, something they can do while I lay on the couch with a ice pack on my tooth and one on my back since it went out also!!!

I hope the kids are feeling better! Otherwise it kind of sounds like fun with the movies and the pumpkin carving.

Hope you had a Happy Halloween!
