Sunday's Trick & Treats for our Little Sweets, and our COLD pumpkin launch!

Happy Sunday! I hope that you have been having a fun (and warm!) weekend! We have been having a great family 3 day weekend! My little girl even FINALLY got her first tooth! At ten months I was beginning to worry she was never going to get them! We even got some crafts done today! So keep reading for today's Trick & Treat!

We had a very nice, though cold freezing, day at the pumpkin launch! When we left it wasn't snowing, but it was only 32 degrees out. We were dressed in layers, and my son looked like he was ready to be stranded in Antarctica. Little girl was the warmest of us all, and my son cold barely move and since he was wearing two pants they kept riding up over his warm boots. It started snowing when we were watching the launch, and ladybug thought it was hilarious! My husband didn't get to do any of this with us last year, so it was fun to have him along. Bug's favorite part was the countdown, until he actually saw a pumpkin crash and then he just wanted to see that happen again and again and again. Then we went on the hayride. Ladybug was fast asleep and snug as a bug in a rug in her little pink snowsuit.

The hayride and the little pumpkin patch. Horrible picture of me, my face looks distorted, but oh well!

They actually took us around twice, and the gentleman was so nice, he gave bug his tickets back so he could go get a pumpkin. Little man was so cute walking around going "we are looking for pumpkins, trying to find a pumpkin, trying to find a pumpkin!" But then every on I picked he said he didn't want that one! He did great and stayed snug and warm until we got back in the car. I took of his mittens, but they apparently didn't work because his hands were bright red and he started crying that they were cold and hurt. So home we headed for his first ever cup of hot chocolate! We cuddle up on the couch under a blanket and that boy drank every single sip of it! It was all over his face, all down his shirt, he was a mess. It was perfect. When he was done he said that his belly felt warm again. We spent the rest of the afternoon doing the crafts for tomorrow, and it was just a perfect family day!

Speaking of those crafts, they were really simple, but we can't do a huge craft everyday! We would get burned out! So today was simple, I got two of the wooden Halloween 3-D puzzles from Michaels. Each were only a dollar. If you have a coupon hanging around, you may as well use it! So we did those, it was a joint effort, and then we made some of those good old ghosts using yarn, tissue, and suckers. I will post a picture, but I know you probably remember doing these before. Hold on to them, though, because you will need them for an activity later this week!

I hope you have a great Sunday! Do you and your family have any fun Halloween/fall activities today (or did you do any yesterday?) Please share your fun stories!

11 of you are the "cool kids":

Do you live in Alaska that it's snowing? It's still warm here. Big storm is supposed to hit Monday, I guess the typhoon that hit Japan is heading to San Francisco. They are even giving out sand bags. JOY. I love the cold and the rain.

I want to go to the pumpkin patch. My son is in Yosemite with his Dad and their family so maybe next weekend!
