Well, initially I said I didn't get a time out this week, and I didn't, but I have managed to finagle some in today. Even though it is snowing outside and I kind of want to stay snuggled in a blanket on the couch with some bloggin' and then some crafting,
I have decided to go to Wal-mart myself instead of sending the hubby. We only need a few things, including PRIZES for the sweet boy that is FINALLY starting to get the hang of potty training (knock on wood). But, I told the hubby I am leaving him and the kids at home and heading out myself, just to get a second to think by myself, clear my head, smell the fresh air, and get out of the house that can cramp your thoughts.
However, I am still DETERMINED to have my timeout with some sushi next week (AHEM Mrs. F, this means YOU!!)

Wow I'm sorry you are having to deal with that. It's hard when you have no control over certain things, especially when you don't believe that is how things are supposed to be happening.
I'd say unless children or someone is in danger, I would try to not think about it. I mean why stress yourself out over someone elses issues, issues you disagree with.
I don't know cause, you didn't go into to details so it's hard to give advice.
As for advice, I say take heed of any advice given to you, however you need to make the decision as to what is ultimatly best for you to do.
I also think you can pretty much write anyone out of your life, family or not, if you really feel that they are doing wrong.
Hey, a Wal-Mart trip counts! I can't believe it's snowing there. Seriously? OMG, I am so not ready for that!!! And stick with the prizes for the whole potty gig. That was the only thing that worked for me.

OMG snow?!? Sheesh, Colorado is gorgeous but I don't know that I'd be able to deal with that. Shopping alone is a great time out..heck, even food shopping!!

YUCK you said that dreaded S word. We are to get some flurries this weekend. Will be to warm to stick to the ground. Thankfully. Enjoy our time out today. I have a budget meeting today for girl scouts. Before the meeting I am going to do a little shopping and then I am going to meet with my friend for Dinner tonight. FINALLY peace and quiet and a way from the kids. Much needed break.

wow i can not even imagine! I am from texas though.
Walamrt is awesome for a time out. I go there a lot and when I am alone I find that I visit every single department. I mean honestly I have no business i nthe tire section, but it adds a few extra quiet moment to my stroll so I check out those fabulous rubber donuts! LOL

Your scrolling marquees aren't working :(
I was having the exact same problem last week! I never figured out why i was having the problem...
But what i did to fix it was:
- copied all the html onto a word doc or notepad
- then i pasted the code for the buttons back into the html widget one by one
- and tested it after I pasted each one in... time consuming i now

Goodness, snow! I'd say a trip to Walmart counts as time out - but going out for sushi is even better. Hope you get to do that next week. :)
