I truly did mean to give you a heads up on this one, so you would know that today's Trick & Treat activity was costume buying, but low and behold I did the post options incorrectly!! Don't worry, I have a few other things to keep the little kids happy. But, if you don't have your costume, than you really should run out and get one. It was....
a fun day. My family has a tradition where my mom makes the first costume, and buys thereafter for the kids. I had actually gotten the sweetest little flower costume for baby girl at her baby shower, but she is a teeny tiny little sweetpea, and she SWIMS in it. Heck, may work for next year at this rate! My mom can't make her costume for this year since she had SOOOOO much going on and was crazy busy, so it was new costumes for both. My little bug really just said his favorite was whatever he was wearing at that moment. And the one I liked the best, the doggie, didn't fit. So we tried a few on the ladybug. She looked so so sweet in the pink bunny, but the head just wouldn't stay on. Plus it had an extra poofy tail on the head. So we tried the lamb. I loved it, hubby hated it. So finally we tried the kitty. That was it. No question! So then I REALLY wanted the dog for my son. I know this is the last year I truly get to choose, plus, how cutsie would that be, a kitty and puppy? I just KNEW the other costume was the wrong size in the wrong bag, so I asked for another. And yep! It fits! So we got bug a bone since ladybug's costume has a cute little mouse rattle that goes with it. Further, when the time for the decorating the bucket craft comes up, I have some ideas rattling around this head as to what their accompanying buckets should look like!
So come on guys! Go get those costumes. Then take a picture and send it in for the costume contest. I KNOW there are some fantastic ideas out there!
Also for Day 4 of Tricks & Treats for our little sweets! Some fun songs and a super simple craft to go with yesterday.
Spiderwebs. If you have any leftover black Chenille stems, simply attach them by winding the tops around one another to make a creative spider web to go with yesterday's spider!
Songs!

7 of you are the "cool kids":
Kids costumes are so cute. Don't forget to take pictures. :)
3 of my kids have their costumes already but I have one who is being extremely picky this year and he can't decide. I sat with him today looking at costumes on E-bay for what seemed like hours and he couldn't find anything he liked.
BTW, I love your new blog look!!!
Can't wait to see the pics!!!
