I had a craft all set up for today, but I decided to switch today and tomorrow's to give you some time to plan ,if you want to do this activity this weekend.
One of the purposes of the Trick & Treats is to spend time with your little one's. I don't know any kid that doesn't like story time. I love watching my son's face as he listens to the fun stories. I love when he gets excited and looks at me to make sure I am watching too! So that is part 1 of today. Story time at your local library! A lot of libraries even do little puppet show for story time, I know one of our local ones had a little trick or treat safety puppet show. Call around, look on the internet! I bet you will find a great place to spend the morning with you little one. Hey, maybe you can make a day of it and find a kids eat free place (i.e. Boston Market) and have lunch together, too!
The second part of today is a little bonding time. It is SO hard to imagine your parents EVER being your age. It is hard to imagine them dressing up and going trick or treating. Think of your most favorite costumes when you were little. Even better if you have pictures! Make some hot chocolate and talk with your kids about what you used to be when you were little! Maybe one of your great costumes will be this year's costume, or even next!

2 of you are the "cool kids":
Awww what a great post. I remember when my two oldest were young and into Halloween..I made their costumes a few times. Now I'm an older mommy with less time..but we did a Major Bedhead costume for last year..*ok i admit Joey's worker did it* but I approved it..lol
How sweet my dear! Just a beautiful post! I'll have to see what I can dig up. You would think since my dad was a professional photographer I would have more pictures to choose from :). NOT ... LOL :)
