Trick or Treat Tales and Shaun the Sheep GIVEAWAY RESULTS!

I have two super fun and super cute movies from Lionsgate and HIT entertainment for you!

The first is called Trick or Treat Tales. The DVD features six episodes-five main ones with a sixth bonus feature!

• Thomas & Friends – “Flour Power!”
• Barney & Friends – “Guess Who?”
• Bob the Builder – “Trix’s Pumpkin Pie”
• Fifi and the Flowertots – “Pirate Primrose”
• Angelina Ballerina – “The Costume Ball”
• BONUS-Fireman Sam-"Cat Magic"
  

Now, I have to put out there that I REALLY dislike Barney. I REALLY dislike Thomas the Train, too. But guess what, my son doesn't and that is what matters. And he LOVED it. Well, actually, until this DVD, he only knew Thomas. I mean the old Thomas. My hubby feels he never should have gone completely cartoon, but whatever, I actually preferred it. The cartoons were perfect, nothing too scary, but with just the right sense of teaching little ones about Halloween. Obviously with these characters, this DVD is for the younger set. Five and under is probably what I would recommend.The only real negative on this DVD is that the title suggests all the stories are about Halloween, which is not true. But, it was really the bonus that wasn't, and I guess that is why they call it a bonus, right?

The thrills start with Thomas & Friends when Thomas is sent on a late delivery still wearing his costume. Bob The Builder and Spud  get themselves in a pickle when Bob is overbooked. How will they protect a giant pumpkin pie from hungry crows? Barney and friends learn about choosing a costume and knowing it is okay to be yourself and Fifi and the gang learn to get along and play nice at the pirate party! Angelina Ballerina sneaks into a costume ball and Fireman Sam saves a furry friend from a scary problem!

The second movie, Shaun the Sheep: Little Sheep of Horrors includes six main stories and two bonus features:

• Little Sheep of Horrors
• Abracadabra
• Things That Go Bump
• Heavy Metal Shaun
• Troublesome Tractor
• Sheepwalking

Bonus Features:

• Sheep Shearing Game
• Whack-A-Pig Game

Shorter than the Trick or Treat Tales, this set of cartoons still leaves you giggling. My son has never seen an of Shaun the Sheep before, and he thought it was hilarious. Quick and animated, it just kept rolling with the laughs. He asked me to play it again as soon as it was over. Shaun and his flock stumble through the adventures and remain brave even as they get scared by unknown farm noises and hilarious adventures. There is never a dull moment as the barnyard pals get themselves in and out of trouble!
