Who doesn't love awards?

I love Saturdays like this one. The day is beautiful. The trees are covered in beautiful colors, a breeze that is neither too cold or too warm. There is plenty of sunshine, and there is still the sound of children's laughter and birds. The laundry is done, homemade chicken soup is on the stove. The kids are in a great mood, we got to sleep in this morning, the hubby has been helpful today. It feels like a Sunday but it is only Saturday! And now, i get to cuddle up in my comfy chair and do some blogging, including Awards!


First of all, I am so sorry it has taken me so long. Between tricks & treats and getting the blog changed, I have been WAY behind. So, thank you SO much to those who gave me these awards, and congrats to those getting them!

Momma Such over at Raising my 4 Sons gave me the SPLASH AWARD. I don't really remember how I found her, but she quickly became a good bloggie buddy. I look forward to hearing about what mischief her sons got into. I can always look forward to a nice comment from her as well. This award is given to alluring, amusing, bewitching, impressive and inspiring blogs. As you can only imagine, I am extremely honored to get this from a blogger that I feel is all of the above. The beautiful Nicole over at the Young Mama Blog passed the ONE LOVELY BLOG AWARD on to me. I love to read her blog because she is so honest and heartfelt. She also brings me back to that time when it was just the 3 of us, and makes me remember the specialness of being a first time mom. Anyway,

I love Kati at LadyBug Mama of 2. She is so sweet and genuine, and she made me such a pretty Alzheimer's awareness bracelet! So I was honored when she passed the I LOVE YOUR BLOG AWARD to me! This award seems to have gotten the general theme of sharing 7 things about yourself, or just 7 things you want to share. So, I will share 7 things about me you may not have known.

1. My favorite cake is vanilla cake with chocolate frosting.
2. I majored in Marketing in college.
3. I want to publish a children's book someday
4. I am OBSESSED with taking pictures.
5. I hate brownies.
6. My favorite Halloween costume from when I was little was a T.V.
7. The first Christmas gift my hubby gave me was a clearance cuddle blanket. I have him $400 worth of stuff.
8. I have never been skiing of any kind~water, snow etc.
9. I was in a sorority when I was in college.
10. I still can't decide if I am done having kids or not, though my husband is pretty sure he only wants the two.

And I am willing to bet, if she is reading this, she is probably shaking her head and thinking I must not get her at all because she is just that way. So modest, so kind, and a great mommy. So Thank you, Stacie, this meant a lot to me.
