Holiday Gift Guide-Soap Queen Soaps and Discount!!

I am giddy for this review. I am like a schoolgirl getting prettied up for a date. And why am I getting prettied up? While, I am glad you asked. It is because the fantastic and whitty Lee over at Hormones, Headaches, and Hotflashes has deemed me worthy enough to not only try her fancy soap, but also review it AND give you an awesome deal on it! And, for you less faint of heart, when you read all about her pretty soap, be sure to read the comments on her blog. I about died laughing.

So let's get to it! I was pleasantly surprised when I got my package on how pretty it was. This isn't your ordinary box of Dial. It has a pretty little box with a pretty little see-through cover, and a pretty little bow to wrap it all up with.

Then I opened it, and was even more surprised by the fact that there were four individually wrapped packages in there! If I had read a little closer, this wouldn't have surprised me, but hey it is better to be surprised nicely than disappointed, right? Not only that, but it smells soooooooo good. My little man has been walking around with the soap pressed to his nose going "mmmmmm that smells good mommy!" I even put it aside until I could review it, and the whole box smelled pretty.

I had a hard time tearing into it. I wanted to keep it nice. I have a bazillion unlit candles around my house for the same reason. Plus, she sent me the Merry Christmas set, so you know I just want to re-wrap it and put it out for guests every year. To look at. Not to use. But that is a whole other post. Don't touch the pretty soap or the pretty towels. Wipe your hands on your pants please.

But I finally did, and I love it! It smells nice all soapy too! (If that even made the slightest bit of sense. I am sure it did to Lee. She gets me) It didn't make my skin all dry and yucky, and even my husband used it, though I told him not to. Which is really funny since he wanted to get soap that said "Step off my soap". Oh yes, did I fail to mention that this is PERSONALIZED soap? You will notice by the link to Lee's site, you can get whatever you want on this, within space limits of course!

This would make a fantastic gift-for anyone. How cute to have little I love you soaps for your kids and hubby to make them smile in the morning? Or smile soaps for your friends? Or don't touch my soap soaps for your husband like mine? Or decorative soaps for people like me? Even birthday parties! Sweet 16 soaps, Over the Hill you smell like death soaps,  You can even get fun soaps for those kids going back to college. Have their names put on it....maybe the creepy smelly roommate won't use it that way. I suppose you could get the sorority/frats letters on it, but you would have to check with Lee. Think how cool that pledge would be? Seriously. If all my friends didn't read this.....this is what all would be getting. Chocolates....cute soap.....silly stupid gift you pick up at the gas station.......cute soaps. I would prefer the cute soaps.

So, on to the deal. I will tell you that I 100% agree that these soaps are worth it. Here is the breakdown

4 4-6oz bars (no, she doesn't try to cheat you, it depends on your design silly!) for $25. Shipping is $5. So $30 for an AWESOME gift. If you REALLY want, and plan it right, I suppose this could be two, or even four gifts. And this is VERY reasonable shipping.

And then, here is the deal that Lee is giving to MY lovely readers. BUY ONE GET ONE HALF OFF! So then, there are 8 bars of soap for 37.50 (+shipping). Simply mention me....FRUGAL VICKI....when you order. And ordering is simple. Her website is currently being updated, so for now, orders are being taken through lee@yourcouturekid.com.

I not only love Lee's product, but I also truly respect and enjoy her as a blogger. Read some of her posts as you are looking at the soap. She is a great lady!

5 of you are the "cool kids":
