Directv doesn't do TiVo anymore. It is compatible with TiVo though. If you go to the TiVo it will explain how it works. It's expensive at first but you get to keep it with pretty much any provider that you have! We have DirecTV now and still have ONE TiVo box left but it's crapping out on us, it's not getting the signal correctly and sometimes ruins the shows we tape! We're so reluctant to get the new DirecTV DVR because we like TiVo soo much better!
And About DirecTV they have such amazing deals going on right now it's insane! If I didn't already have it, I would get it! Not to mention if you get referred by a friend (which you know could be me lol) You get a $100 off (and so would I) When my contract runs out I might have B sign up under his name so we can get all the good deals!
