There was Halloween, Cookies, Spider Pumpkins, so much to do. So I did NOT get my time. But I got something even better.....
For the past week, we have all been a little sick. I say a little because we didn't have the swine flu, but we were all miserable for at least a week, closer to two. There were stuffy noses, headaches, belly aches, diarrhea. My house was a mess, my blog was neglected, Halloween Tricks & Treats was yet to be finished. And then, something strange happened.
My hubby, who is usually the just as messy as the kids (okay, if you need an example, I put the toothbrush charger NEXT to his sink in the attempt to get him to put the dang thing back where it belonged. Yet, it still lies in FRONT of said charger. Just like the towels lay IN FRONT of the basket. I don't get it).
Anyway, said husband was AWESOME! If I just happened to say I needed something, he got it If I mentioned how I couldn't relax because the house was a mess, he helped clean it. He even delivered my
Children's Hospital gifts because the roads had been yucky and then I had too much to do. He was my newlywed husband (Oh how I have missed him). This man has even said THANK YOU for three things I have done in the past two days!!!! Thank you for cutting my hair-he even said this one twice! It was so nice, I was even dreaming about him actually recognizing the work that I do.
If I could get this every single week-if I could get this recognition from him, the help and the love, I would give up a Theta Mom now and then. It would be worth it!

awww...don't you just love when they pitch in a little! maybe something is in the air...my hubby has been more than helpful lately! lol i'm glad your hubs took some stress off!
That sounds wonderful.You need that once in awhile.I can't understand about the towel thing.Well glad you got help.We are in bad shape around here also.I haven't been doing much commenting at all.

that is so sweet of him! I've had the dreaded swine flu all week myself but my hubby has been out of town for work. I wish I could have been spoiled..

halloween cookies sound nice. I wish i could be that creative at halloween. I would end up buying cookies instead lol

I love it when my husband helps out. Lately it hasn't been to much. Today me, Brittany and Dakota are running low grade fevers. He knows I am not going to cook so he will bring dinner home. I tried really hard to get some meals froze for Dakota. Didn't work I was worn out. I got 4 bowls of spaghetti froze for him. Monday I am going to get my nails done in peace. WOOHOO!! Hope you get to feeling better.
