HAPPY 3RD BIRTHDAY, LITTLE MAN!!

Three years ago today, my life changed forever. What I had dreamed of, longed for, and waited for finally came true. My sweet little man was born at 3:59 a.m. This little stinker didn't make things easy. He wanted to come in his own way, in his own time. We had changed induction dates, but he wanted to come when he wanted to.....but he didn't want to make it easy. After four VERY long and hard hours of pushing, he finally came into this world via c-section.

It amazes me how much this vivacious little three year old has taught me. He has taught me about true love, about sacrifice, and even about patience. He has taught me who I want to be, what I want to do, and where I want to go in this life of mine. Those first two years we spent alone together we were like the bestest of best friends. Doing everything, learning everything, and experiencing everything together. And even now, that smile of his, those little eyes that forgive me and love me unconditionally. He still has so much to teach me, and I am anxious to learn.
These moments, these times. This is what I was MEANT to do. I was meant to be this precious little man's mommy. I can't even describe how wonderful he is. He didn't seem to be my baby for long, this smart little guy of mine. With his vocabulary and understanding, those that don't know him may think he is four or five. He is so giving and caring, and loves to share his smile......but that little attitude is never far from the surface if you upset him. He is sensitive, but also forgiving when you accidentally hurt his feelings. His excitement is infectious, and he quickly thanks you for doing things to make that smile spread across his face. From the first laugh to now...his laugh is truly one that makes you laugh along with him.
I can't describe my love and how wonderful this little man is in the few amount of words that a blog post allows. But I do want to wish my little man a very very very HAPPY THIRD BIRTHDAY! Please stop growing so fast, I don't want to miss a moment!
