 My kids are chocolate milk fanatics. The first thing that I hear each morning, is my son asking for his chocolate milk so he can watch Mickey Mouse (or sometimes Chugginton, I say all information is true, so I should be thorough as well hee hee). Seeing that this is the only thing he actually FINISHES, it is important to me that this chocolate milk is healthy. So I was really excited when I was introduced to Horizon's Organic 1% Chocolate Milk...






Looking at the ingredients, there is one really important ingredient that Horizon has that my milk doesn't....and that is DHA Omega-3. Found naturally in some fish, it helps support heart, brain and eye health...particularly in growing children!

The only issue I had was that I had a hard time finding the milk. I usually get my milk at Wal-Mart, and when I sent my husband to the store he said he couldn't find it at Safeway. Well, we all know how blind husbands are. It WAS at Safeway, along with a ton of other Horizon Organic milks. So, I finally got it.

The next morning, without fail, little man asked for his chocolate milk. I told him we had a new kind today that was already made! He was so excited. We got his milk, turned on the t.v. and waited for the kid-tested portion of the review. First thing he said was his milk was cold. Really, I don't know. Maybe the powder warms it up, or when we shake, I don't know. But he liked that it was cold. And then....."mmmmm, my new chocolate milk is good mommy!" Phew! Success! Kid tested AND mother approved!
