Minnie Mouse got caught in a tidal wave-Join Mommy Moment Monday!

Photobucket

You know we all have them. That beautiful moment that makes you realize you are a mom, the moment that something you swore you would never say comes out of your mouth, those moments you couldn't even make up if you tried? Well, let's share shall we? Those moments in which we are pulling our hair out, trying not to cry, laugh, or scream. Moments we think we would never see, and moments we think we will never laugh at? Let it out ladies!

I have a few little conversations to share, too! Here are my fun mommy moments this week!

Me: "You know what kiddo, mommy REALLY needs a time-out"
Little Man: "Okay, I will come with you so you aren't lonely" and then two seconds later...."Baby Girl you want to come to time-out with me and Mommy?"
I guess it is good he feels compassion.......

Little Man: "Will you sing ABC's?"
Me:"I'm sorry sweetie, I don't have much of a voice to sing."
Little Man: "Because you talk too much and your voice ran out?"
Hmmmm, someone has been talking to Daddy too much.

And then there was the fish-cleaning episode. Our little Betta fish, Minnie Mouse, needed to be cleaned. Since she is the kids' fish, they always "help" me. I went looking for the water conditioner, telling Little Man to keep his hands out of the tank. When I was out of the room, I called back and asked if his hands were in the water, he hesitated, but said no. I go back in the room to see his whole face immersed in the water.....blowing bubbles. I'm glad those swim lessons are paying off.

Minnie thought she got caught in a tidal wave!
And let's not leave out baby girl. I put her in the cutest little 12 month nightgown (only during the day, she still won't sleep under blankets at night) and she feels so pretty. Well, I was folding laundry, and look up to see her walking in the room, with the front of the nightgown pulled over her head and behind her neck, with her pink winter beanie hat on and diaper in hand. Yes, the diaper she was wearing. At least this made sense. Somehow, when she is wearing feetie pajamas, her diaper always ends up around one ankle. She is a little magician I think.

16 of you are the "cool kids":

How funny that your son was blowing bubbles in the fish tank! You had to be cringing, but that's a memory you won't forget for awhile.

I was wondering why it was the same list as last week. Of course it's ok if you put me first. I never complain about being first.

Oh these are adorable! :) I'm blocking out all mine right now! LOL. I fear that the few days with my boys being crabby with one another just reminds me why some species eat their young.

If only the kids could grasp the concept of a mommy time out. Life would be so great!

My Lil' Man did that once, somehow shimmied out of his diaper without my knowledge. He was standing in the living room and all of a sudden he opens his mouth wide, gasps, looks down at his pants looks back up at me then back down at the floor and proceeds to pee all on the living room floor! And his outfit somehow managed to stay completely dry! That was one hilarious mommy moment watching me freak out.

I've got to remember to come and join in on Mondays...I have way too many stories to share! I love your fun conversations...my little one is too young for me to understand any of the conversations he has with me...but maybe that's okay for now! =)
