My new favorite diaper rash cream-CLOSED!

I am sure that, one day, my daughter is going to look back on this blog and be a little perturbed that I am writing a whole post about her tooshie rash. But, I must. Because, as those of you with girls know, the diaper rash comes on like a tornado in Kansas, spreading the pain all over in the blink of an eye. I have tried everything and anything, but it seems like it just hangs around for a couple of days. Until I was contacted by a wonderful lady, Alexis, who introduced me to my daughter's tooshie saver...

Summers Laboratories, Inc makes a wonderful product called triple paste. It is a medicated ointment that really seems to make diaper rash magically disappear. The day we used it, my daughter was having a rough day of teething, which is usually accompanied by the runs for her....which led to a bleeding diaper rash. I put a layer of the thick cream on her poor little tooshie. 6 hours later (no diaper change in between), I took that diaper off, cursing myself for not changing her diaper in the middle of the night. But it...was....GONE! I am not kidding, I am not exaggerating, and I am not being paid for this. I was stunned. The only redness was way high, not even rashed anymore, just a little red. Until I tried this, I had been spending an amazing amount of money on Lotrimin at the store, for a teeny tiny bottle that I had to use twice a day for a few days. Not to mention the extra diapers I had to go through to keep her extra extra dry. Not anymore. My little girl was full of smiles, and we all know that those perfect little smiles make us smile too!
In addition to this, I was sent some Triple Cream, which is for dry skin and eczema. I will tell you, for the first few months of my daughters life I was afraid she would be acne-filled forever. A trip to the pediatrician told me she had eczema, not acne. It has gotten better, but especially in this cold weather, her dry skin can flare up and make that baby smooth skin like a little alligators. My hubby accidentally used this on her diaper rash first (and ironically had rave reviews on it for diaper rash). I put some on her rough little elbows, knees, and even her rough feet (that wobbly walking is hard work!). It was wonderful. She smoothed out, and it wasn't like her other lotion that just got sucked up and disappeared. This coated and worked. So, of course, the husband HAD to try it on HIS elbows. Again with rave reviews....think we should start making him write his own reviews?
