Pull up a chair and let's chat!

I did it! I hit my goal of 1,000 comments that I left on other blogs in March. It was really not that hard, and I actually enjoyed getting to know more blogs, keeping caught up with the ones I already love, and becoming closer to a lot of you! I probably won't "officially" take the challenge in April, because I REALLY need to focus on building my Macaroni Kid, but I do plan on keeping up with commenting as much as I can and visiting as often as I do now!
Other things! Don't forget tomorrow's fun meme on Mommy Moment Mondays! I also have some new reviews and giveaways coming up, like perfume/cologne, ABC ties, glasses, and a fantastic one that will be announced soon!
For today though, here is a little more of getting to know ME!
I got tagged a couple of times...so keep reading!

A new find of mine, Nat at my boring life, tagged me in this fun little quiz, this has become a weekend full of getting to know me and quizzes!
5-5-5 Questions:

Question 1: Where were you five years ago?
1. Let's see that was 3/28/2005, so I was EXACTLY two months from getting married. We actually got married ON my husband's 30th birthday. I will say I was worried that he would have a mini-mid-life crisis.
2. I was at my thinnest, I did have a wedding gown to fit in, ya know.
3. I worked as a restaurant/bar manager, and enjoyed it. I am a night owl, so I didn't mind the late nights.
4. I was broke as a joke
5. I was very happy.

Question 2: What is (was) on your to-do list today?

1. Hard boil the eggs so the kids can color them tonight-check
2. Do laundry-still waiting for one of you to come do this for me.
3. Make some lasagna.
4. Do some writing for this blog, the examiner, AND macaroni kid. check, no check, no check
5. Hit the 1000 comments for March! check!

Question 3: What five snacks do you enjoy?
1. I am a big salad person. I love salads as snacks
2.Goldfish mixed with Craisins
3. Chocolate mmmmm. Even better mixed with popcorn
4. Lemons and limes. I know this sounds crazy....but I LOVE to eat them with salt.
5. Veggies with blue cheese

Question 5: What five things would you do if you were a billionaire?
1. Pay off our bills, all of them.
2. Buy a house with two extra rooms, so each kid can have their own and I can have an office. And a car with third row seating. So maybe I could have another kid. Hmmm.....Maybe I would need ONE more room on that house.
3. Go on a cruise with my parents...I think that would be awesome. Then take the kids to Disneyworld
4. Make a very big donation to the Children's miracle network and St. Jude. I have always wanted to do this. We make craft kits around the holidays for the local children's but I want to do more.
5. Start five accounts...one college for each kid, one wedding/other for each kid, and savings for hubby and I.
And 5 bloggers to pass it on to...
1. Stacie at Just Bloggled
2. Harriet at I am Harriet
3. VKT at Veteran Kindergarten teacher
4. Christa at Little bgcg
5. Casey at Ramblings of Casey (when she gets to feeling better!)

My bloggy-buddy VKT (visit her blog, she is awesome and has lots of great advice and insight!) has passed this task on to me.

Here are the rules:
1. Open your 1st Photo folder.
2. Scroll to the 10th photo.
3. Post the photo and the story behind it.
4. Tag 5 or more people
This was last summer at the zoo. Baby Girl wasn't quite walking yet, but I was able to let her hold on to the sides of the exhibit. My little one's LOVE the zoo, they always have. Before he could talk much, you could ask Little man what most animals said and he would make the noise.
My BF and I each have a zoo pass so that we can go at any time, get our kids out in the sun and a little education, and catch up ourselves. This particular picture is in the reptile exhibit that they have. They even have a GIGANTIC turtle. I can't wait for the kids to see that this year now that they have a turtle of their own.

And really, for this one I am tagging everyone. I know I know, super cheesy and sometimes annoying if you think it is a cop-out, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE pictures (don't believe me? I take about 500 pictures PER kid a month, and that is if we don't have a big fun day like at an amusement park!!!) so I want to see all that I can!

14 of you are the "cool kids":

I did the 1000 comments twice and I'm pretty sure I leave that many anyhow, but the tracking about killed me!!!

I love that darling photo!

I -just- saw chocolate covered popcorn in the grocery store the other day and was baffled. I'd never heard of such a thing!

I love lemons and limes too. Usually not with salt though... Unless you're inviting me to a shot of tequila with it. ;)
