Mommy Moment Monday-geez dad!

Photobucket

You know we all have them. That beautiful moment that makes you realize you are a mom, the moment that something you swore you would never say comes out of your mouth, those moments you couldn't even make up if you tried? Well, let's share shall we? Those moments in which we are  pulling  our hair out, trying not to cry, laugh, or scream. Moments we  think we  would never see, and moments we think we will never laugh at?  Let it out ladies!

With yesterday being Mother's Day, I really have to say that was the absolute best mommy moment. It was the first Mother's Day my husband got to spend with us. It was by far my favorite Mother's Day. Every single part of the day was perfect. And my little guy kept telling me Happy Mother's Day at random times throughout the day. My husband was absolutely perfect all day. I got to spend time with each of my kiddo's. I got some time to myself. I decided that Mother's Days are FAR better than my birthday. Plus I can end the day without being older!
But, other than that perfect day, the cutest moment of the week actually happened to my husband. We have those generic oreo cookies from Wal-Mart. In fact, I have NEVER bought my son, or made him, peanut butter cookies. But one day, he decided he wanted a peanut butter cookie. My hubby told him that we don't have any. My too-smart-for-his-own-good son rolls his eyes, looks at his Daddy, and said "yes we doooooo. You take a cookie apart and put peanut butter on it and then it is a peanut butter cookie!"
Oh....My......Gosh. And he is three. I am scared of all the smart-alec attitude I have to look forward to!

I hope you all had a fantastic Mother's Day!!

4 of you are the "cool kids":

Hi!

I've just stopped by to post my Mommy Moments post.

I'm glad to hear you had a great Mothers Day yesterday! :) I love your reason for preferring Mothers Day to your Birthday (not being a year older!) - LOL. At my age, I can soooooo appreciate that! ;)
