Woody what?

Photobucket
You know we all have them. That beautiful moment that makes you realize you are a mom, the moment that something you swore you would never say comes out of your mouth, those moments you couldn't even make up if you   tried? Well, let's share shall we? Those moments in which we are  pulling  our hair out, trying not to cry, laugh, or scream. Moments we  think we  would never see, and moments we think we will never laugh at?  Let it out ladies!

Gotta tell you...these mommy moments don't really need a story....

  • Father's Day my kids were swinging. Best moment in the world when Little Man shouts to Baby Girl "I love you!" and she shouts back "wub wu oo!"
  • I was on the ladder, painting the top of the wall, when the kids run giggling into the closet and shut the door. I was tempted to go and see what was up when all of the sudden both of them come running out with towels on their heads shouting "SuperMAN!" or "per.an.!" I laughed so hard I accidentally painted the mirror....but couldn't even care it was so cute.
  • Little man was jumping off the couch...and then told me he was going to "be like Buzz Lightyear". Um, this meant doing a facedive like he was diving off the diving board. Needless to say he didn't fly. But he did an awesome face plant!
and...the best for last....
  • Little Man was walking around the house the other day chanting "I've got a Woody...I've got a Woody!" (you dirty minded people! This is a family blog! He had his Toy Story Woody!)

6 of you are the "cool kids":

I've posted a proud mommy moment rather than a crazy or comical moment this week!

I love when my kids tell each other they love them. Did that just make sense? My 14 year old son made my daughter a card for her 13th birthday telling her how "cool" she was, and how proud he was to be her brother. Melted my heart, let me tell you.
