Another Saturday 9!

Saturday 9: Superstition

1. What are you superstitious about?
I don't think I am really superstitious per se. But if I get a feeling, I worry. It isn't often that my mom (or wife) gut is wrong. My husband has learned to trust my "feelings" too. Kinda creepy.
2. What’s the story behind one of your scars?
I don't have many scars, my biggest is my c-section scar. But, this does go back to question 1. I was scheduled to have a repeat c-section with my daughter at six on the 24. On the 23, I was having lots of contractions. But, with my son I had contractions ALL day and didn't go in until I was dialated to a 7. It was 8 pm, and I really didn't want to pay for another full hospital day, so I tried to wait. But then I got that feeling. So in we went. They did the c-section earlier than they normally would have (I was only at a 3 and they don't usually do it until 5). And thank goodness because my daughter had a true knot in her cord.
3. What are three things that you would rather be doing right now?
Sleeping, having a romantic dinner with my husband, swimming in the pool at our honeymoon hotel.
4. What do you do when you're bored?
Catch up on blogging. But I am rarely bored, always something to do.

5. What's your favorite thing to do? Why?
Cuddle with my kids. Doesn't really need an explanation

6. What do you do when you're lonely?
Eat. It is a horrible thing.

7. How do you measure the passing of time in life?
Watching my babies grow and my hair turn gray.

8. What would constitute "the perfectly lived day" for you?
A day without a moment wasted. A day where we all go to bed happy and feeling loved. A day where all the bills are paid and there is some extra money in the bank. A day where we had a fun bonding day.

9. If you knew you were going to die in a year, what would you do in your final days?
I would make up for some lost romance with my husband, I would spend absolutely every day with my kids, I would get some affairs in order to make sure my family was okay etc etc. But in terms of a "bucket list", I would write that childrens book I keep leaving unfinished, I would finish the family movie I started. I would take my kids to Disneyworld. I am easy
