This week's question:
How old were you when you first learned to swim?
My answer:
I really don't know the age. But I do remember an incident. At the local indoor pool, they have a little ledge/shelf in the pool for kids to stand on (there is actually still this pool with the ledge in the water!) Well, the teacher was off with another student, and I slipped off the ledge. My mom freaked out. I don't really remember being scared, but now I know how my mom felt. My son now goes to a pool where they have to hold on to the wall, there is no ledge. He let go of the wall one and I was terrified. I now see why my mom screamed!

Kids and water can be a scary combo- even with lifeguards. My 2 yr. old has no fear & no concept of the dangers. She gives me a heart attack almost every time we go. Thanks for linking up! :)
Wow I bet your mom was scared. I learned how to swim by either my dad, brother in law, or uncle(I can't remember which one all were there) throwing me in the pool when I was 7. I basically learned how to swim so I didn't drown
Parents are always so worried. Or in our case Grandparents. We will be taking Maya for swim lessons this year.
