Dinner Table Conversation..........

Oh the dinner table conversations. I am sure that one day, I will be BEGGING my children to speak to me at dinner. But for now, I am enjoying the days of crazy random conversation....

Little Man: I would like a cookie with my dinner please
Me: Not until you eat your dinner
Little Man: No mommy, it an be like the bread and butter.

Little Man: Did you know that bears eat snakes and snakes eat bears?
Me: Really?
Baby Girl: aht? aht u ay? (what, what you say?)
Little Man: I SAID did you know bears eat snakes and snakes eat bears?
Baby Girl: oh, otay.

Little Man: Mommy, do you see this baby noodle?
Me: Yes I do, that is a little one.
Little Man: Do you want to kiss it before I eat it?
Me: No thanks
Baby Girl: I iss it! (I kiss it!)

Little Man: Did you hear that stinkie?
Me: Are you serious? Not really dinner conversation bud
Baby Girl: hee hee hee hee again again!

All of us: Skidamarinkadink skidamarinkadoo I love you! (yes, we often break out in song during dinner)

Little Man: Alright, I want my cookie now.
Baby Girl: ookie? ere? ookie or me? (cookie? where? Cookie for me?

LOL...These sound similar to conversations at our table

That is so funny. I just love listening to some of the ideas that the little ones come up with. The cookie instead of the bread and butter sounds good to me.
