Just in case you somehow managed to miss my preschool mishap with my son, I will do a quick recap for you. I was given "the look" from the teacher as she lectured all the parents on how important it was to bring your kid a snack to school and how they could no longer supply this. Ummmm, my son DID have a snack. It was in the lunchbox in his cubby. But apparently since it wasn't labeled they didn't know it was his.

I never thought I would be "the mom who labeled." I guess it is because there was some weird association with moms who labeled their kids underwear. But really, these days it is necessary if you ever want to see your kids' stuff again!

So, this review of LabelYourStuff was perfectly timed. I am guessing not only for me but for so many of you who are realizing your kids are coming home with less than they went to school with.

What I REALLY like about Label your Stuff is that they have a starter package. It made it quick and easy to just get one product that gave me the ability to label his shoes, his lunchbox, his coat and even his umbrella. Anything that isn't attached to him during school I labeled, and his shoes, too!

I actually found a surprising benefit that I hadn't thought of. My son already knows what his name looked like, but seeing that name on his items helped when the teachers asked him where his stuff was. And it also helped him to write his name, because he remembered seeing how his name was written on all of his personal items. He seemed very proud of those labels.
